Curriculum Vitae

After training as a stonemason and sculptor, I studied civil engineering in Hamburg.

Straight afterwards I emigrated to Australia for five years: civil engineer and self-employed landscape gardener in Sydney, geological assistant on oil drillings, landscape and portrait painting, Australian short stories.

Then came architecture studies in Aachen and self-employment as an architect in Hamburg — alongside sculptures in stone, cement-bound material and casting techniques.

The Australian short stories are gathered in the book „Like The Shadow Of A Bird“ (Photolyrics and Australian Short Stories).

Art seminars in sculpture and casting techniques. For some years now my work has been devoted to wood sculpture, painting and writing. I live and work in Gelting on the Baltic Sea.
